 Biography Paul Ehrmann, D.O.

Dr. Ehrmann earned his bachelor of science of Pharmacy at the Wayne State College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions in 1976 and his Doctor of Osteopathy at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing in 1980. He completed his Residency in Family Practice at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital in Warren, Michigan in 1983. Currently he is on staff at St. John and William Beaumont Hospital Systems.

Dr. Ehrmann was appointed as Chief Medical Consultant to the Public Health Subcommittee of the Michigan House of Representatives in 1994 and holds an appointment as an Associate Clinical Professor of Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. He holds several memberships in local, state and national associations

Since starting his practice as medical director of the Family Health Care Center in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1982, Dr. Ehrmann has been a community-based activist advocating for grass-roots preventative healthcare. His work in health promotion and disease prevention has been well recognized. Dr. Ehrmann has appeared on numerous, radio and television programs and in print media

 

In 2002, Dr. Ehrmann became actively engaged in the fight against childhood obesity, creating and implementing the Children’s Health Initiative Program (CHIP), which is an elementary school-based grass-roots healthy living program geared toward families. Biography Of Keith Levick, Ph.D.

Keith Levick, Ph.D. is a health psychologist who has been in practice for over 20 years. He received a Master of Social Work in 1976 and his Ph.D. from Wayne State University in 1992.        

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Levick has spent the majority of time focusing on weight control and wellness issues. For ten years, Dr. Levick served as the behavioral director for Medical Weight Management, an adult obesity clinic. In 1987 he developed a treatment program for obese children and opened The Center For Childhood Weight Management (CCWM).

Besides his work with CCWM, Dr. Levick is the President of Goren and Associates (GAA), a training and consulting company. GAA provides human performance training for Fortune 500 companies. Some of their clients include GM, Chrysler, MGM Grand, Monroe Bank & Trust and many other organizations. He also served on the Executive Board for the American Heart Association (AHA). His work with the AHA includes being the Chairperson of the Advocacy and Education Committee and collaborated in the development of the T.E.A.C.H. cardiovascular program. He is well published in the area of weight control, wellness and psychological issues and is the author of two books: Why Is My Child So Overweight? and The Healthy Cookbook For Children.

Dr. Levick was a regular guest on an ABC affiliate TV show, "Kelly and Company" for 15 years. Currently, he serves as a local "expert" for WDIV-TV, Fox-2 and WXYZ television stations in Michigan. As a professional speaker, he travels across the US speaking on a wide range of health and wellness topics.
